Filling

EZ-FillaTM is what we call our range of fluid filling equipment.
     Setup is EZ
Achieving void free and accurate fills is EZ
     Cleanup is simple and EZ
     Material switchover is EZ

We cater to the filling of a wide range of containers. The basic equipment range is targeted at the production facility where run lengths are too short to warrant fully automatic machinery. When run lengths and types require customization and automation, we can integrate our flexible range of robotic systems or design and manufacture controllers and systems to meet your specific requirements. The information below highlights three specific filling application areas to illustrate our abilities. If you need something else filled, we’re sure to be able to help.

Our cartridge fillers are designed with four criteria in mind:

    Consistent fill levels
    Void free fills
Low cost and simple material switch over
    Simple clean up.

If you’re filling cartridges, you’re probably also inserting pistons. We offer a supplementary piston inserter which ensures your inserting process will be easy and rapid. Your completed product will have no trapped air. Dual cartridges will show consistent depths and dispense your mixture in exact ratios.

We have five syringe filling options, the first three capable of filling from the nozzle end. The EZ-FillaTM 1000 is a manual syringe filler for low production requirements. Our EZ-FillaTM 1100 allows simultaneous, though independently driven, filling of two syringes with the same material. The series 1200 fills dual syringes with a different material (including quite high viscosity ones) in each side.
Attributes of these units include:

    Accurate, consistent fills
    Simple changeover
    Adjustable fill levels
Automatic grip and hold (not the EZ-FillaTM 1000)

Our high pressure filler handles filling syringes with very high viscosity materials.

The EZ-FillaTM 2100 is based on our Cartridge Filler with parts sized accordingly for the smaller syringe. Please look at out Cartridge Filler page for more information on this.

Whether you call it a compule or a “unit dose”, you know that the material requires special handling. We have the system that makes it simple. Our high pressure unit is designed to handle the material appropriately. It does this by:

Maintaining exact control over material flow characteristics
Using solid state sensing for accurate fills.

The high pressure unit, with it’s functionality of raising the material temperature to make it manageable also lends itself to extrusion processes.

As an alternative, if you don’t want to fill it yourself, we offer a competitively priced  service, offering you the benefits of quality fills without the time and resources needed by an in-house operation. Our contract filling service includes packaging options as well, so that you can receive the completed package, ready to deliver to your customer.
