The Tridak model 775 is a compact, air actuated, normally closed, spool type shutoff valve that provides precise control over both the rate of flow while operating, and the amount of suck-back when closing.
Adjustable flow gives absolute control over the amount of material deposited during a specific period of time. Control over the amount of suck-back is mandatory to achieve consistent string-less cutoff of tacky materials and to eliminate air entrapment. It also prevents a droplet from remaining on a dispense nozzle when used with thin materials. Both of these factors drastically effect accuracy and repeatability.
Both controls are conveniently located on the end opposite the material outlet and are lockable to prevent drift or tampering.
Available Models: 775V - Valve with Snuff Back 775SS - All Stainless Steel Construction 775SSW - Stainless Steel Wetted Areas 775H - Heated with Thermocouple & Temperature Control
The Model 775H is a modified 775 valve that incorporates a heating element and a temperature sensor. It is capable of raising the valve temperature to 400 degrees F. It is intended to be use with a temperature controller which we can provide.
This valve is particularly useful for dispensing high viscosity materials that, when heated can be dispensed at a much lower viscosity. The valve’s features are:
|
Heated Valve
Air actuated, normally closed, spool valve
Precise control over the amount of suck back
Accurate control of flow rate
Cycle Rate can exceeds 400/min
